Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time

Salary: $85/hour plus OT with Full Benefits and a 401(k)

Bonuses: $10,000 Sign-On and $20,000 Annual Retention

Position Overview:

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care 8 years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners in Bakersfield, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

Urgent Care Medicine practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
Full-time is 12 shifts per month and 2 on-call shifts per month.
Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
Easy-to-use EMR with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Qualifications:

Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies
CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
DEA Certificate

We have expanded our brand and services throughout Bakersfield and into Fresno, Clovis, Chino, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, Dana Point, and Laguna Hills.
