Licenses/Certifications:
-Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, licensed in the State of Wisconsin Board of Nursing with Prescriptive authority OR Physicians Associate, Licensed in the State of Wisconsin
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Associate (PA) will provide comprehensive patient care with a focus on wellness, prevention, and chronic condition management. The NP/PA will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients seeking medical weight loss, supplementation support, hormone optimization, and sexual health. This role requires strong clinical skills, a holistic approach to health, and a passion for improving patient outcomes in a supportive and collaborative environment. The NP/PA will play a key role in fostering a safe, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for weight management, nutritional supplementation, HRT, and sexual wellness.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications, hormones, and nutritional supplements as appropriate.
- Perform PRP/PRF/PDGF injections for sexual health and wellness.
- Provide patient education and counseling on lifestyle, nutrition, and preventative care.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, medical assistants, and other team members to deliver integrated care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Stay current with clinical guidelines, emerging therapies, and best practices in wellness and preventative medicine.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Wisconsin OR Physician Associate (PA)
- DEA license (or eligibility).
- Minimum [1–3] years of clinical experience preferred; experience in weight management, endocrinology, or wellness medicine strongly desired.
- Strong knowledge of hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss protocols, and nutritional supplementation.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Experience creating SOP’s
