A respected primary care group in North Houston is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant for an outpatient clinic in Huntsville, TX. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday (8a–5p) position with no weekends and no call, ideal for providers who want consistency, patient continuity, and a supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan: assess, diagnose, treat, and manage chronic and acute conditions.
- Perform wellness and preventive visits, chronic disease management, and same-day sick visits.
- Order/interpret labs and diagnostics; develop evidence-based care plans and follow-up.
- Educate patients on medications, lifestyle, and preventive care; coordinate referrals as needed.
- Document accurately and timely in the clinic EMR; collaborate with clinic staff to optimize patient flow.
Requirements
- Licensed FNP (APRN) or PA in Texas.
- 1+ year of primary care experience (required).
- Strong clinical judgment, patient communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work five 8-hour day shifts (Mon–Fri).
