Healthcare United is seeking afull-time Faculty Physicianto join its dynamic team in an academic setting starting in2025. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced physicians or new graduates eager to pursue a career in teaching while practicing full-spectrum family medicine. Position Highlights
- Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
- Call Duties:Minimal call, primarily home-based to support residents, with optional OB call.

Responsibilities:
- Providedirect care to clinic patients.
- Educate and precept residents, gradually assuming additional academic duties such as teaching, evaluations, and advising.
- Performfull-spectrum family medicine care, with an understanding of OB (no requirement to perform OB procedures).
Clinic Facilities:
- Features include 20 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 precepting rooms, and a lab.
Patient Volume:
- Average 15- 20 patients per day(8–10 per half day).
Hospital Amenities:
- Physicians’ loungewith meals provided.
- 24-hour all-access employee fitness center.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)orDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Board Certified by theAmerican Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)or theAmerican Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFM).
- ValidGeorgia Medical Licenseor participation in theInterstate Medical Licensure Compact.
- CurrentD.E.A. Certificate.
- Willingness to performfull-spectrum family medicine careand an understanding of OB (not required to perform OB procedures).
- Must be ingood standingwith current employer or residency/fellowship program.
- Experience withFederally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)orCommunity Health Centers (CHCs).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)preferred but not required.
- Open to candidates withadditional training or fellowshipsandnew graduatesinterested in academic medicine.
