Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across various medical settings including acute care, emergency medicine, and primary care. As a Physician Assistant, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical care, conduct patient assessments, and assist in the management of treatment plans.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage acute pain management and provide care for patients in critical conditions.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care as needed.
- Utilize EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient records.
- Participate in clinical research and data collection initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide triage services in emergency settings, assessing the urgency of patient needs.
- Engage in health coaching and education for patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive patient information.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong clinical skills with experience in areas such as internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, or urgent care.
- Proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for accurate billing processes.
- Familiarity with critical care procedures including ventilator management and airway management.
- Experience in hospital settings such as Level I or II trauma centers is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques is essential.
- Ability to perform suturing, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
