As the Oregon Coast proudly notes, Astoria is that little town that could, a city of 10,000 people on the Columbia River, just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. Founded 200 years ago at the beginning of Oregon's North Coast, Astoria has been through boom-and-bust times more than once, weathering the collapse of both the Columbia River fishery and Oregon timber industry. It has risen once again as a cultural haven, often referred to as "little San Francisco." Astoria's workforce also includes transportation and warehousing, retail, food services, and healthcare. Healthy communities are needed to produce these services. In addition, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is dedicated to ensuring we are available to keep our communities healthy, educated, and informed of our services.
Who we are looking for:
- An Advanced Practice Clinician passionate about community health and family medicine
- A healthcare professional committed to working with underserved patient populations

Position Details:
- Certified bilingual Medical Assistant dedicated to assisting in translation and patient care
- 1.0 FTE (40 hours a week with 34 hours of clinical and 6 hours of admin time)
- EMR system is EPIC
- Clinic Operational Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Position highlights:
- Base Compensation: $132k - $144k. Additional earnings from productivity and patient satisfaction measures should be expected.
- $15k Hiring Bonus
- $20k Relocation allowance
- $50k student loan repayment assistance beginning the month after your start date
- $25k annual geographical pay
- $1,500 monthly housing/auto stipend for 1 year ($18k total)
- Malpractice insurance coverage (no tail coverage policy needed)
- 4-week Medical Spanish Immersion Program in Xayla, Guatemala

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must complete a Master's or Doctoral Degree -Nurse Practitioner or Master's Degree - Physician Assistant or Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a two-year Physician Assistant training program.
