Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Wound Care – Aberdeen, SD
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Some Flexibility)
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as the primary practitioner for wound care at a well-established healthcare facility in Aberdeen, South Dakota . This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated provider who is passionate about patient-centered care and wound healing.
Job Description:
Serve as the lead provider for the wound care department, managing acute and chronic wounds
Conduct comprehensive assessments, order appropriate diagnostics, and develop individualized treatment plans
Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other therapeutic interventions as needed
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans to promote healing
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, primary care, and surgical staff
Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, prevention, and ongoing management
Maintain compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
Education & Certification Requirements:
Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Active and unrestricted South Dakota NP or PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Current BLS certification required
Wound care experience required – WCC or similar certification preferred
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
