Pay Rate: $65 - $75 / hr

Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri 7:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

As an Onsite Occupational Health Practitioner with CAREonsite, you will:

Provide in-person occupational health services to the community.
Perform therapeutic and minor surgical procedures, including injections, immunizations, suturing, Sub Q foreign body removal, simple foreign body removal of the eye/cornea, and burn care.
Offer occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Worker's Compensation injuries.
Conduct pre-participation physicals for employment purposes.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient charts.
Document patient information in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Minimum Education and Experience:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

3+ years of occupational medicine or emergency medicine/urgent care experience.
Ideally, experience working in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
The ability to work independently and serve as a leader for the team.
Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

You must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you will need:

A current State PA license or NP license.
A current DEA license.
Current BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
