Program Details:

Patient Population: Serving an agriculture area with 5000 annual hospital births, 750-800 handled by hospitalists.
Current Stats: 60 deliveries/month, 180 clinic visits/month, 177 triage visits/month.
NICU: Level III
EMR: Cerner
Shift Rotation: Full-time, 7-8 non-consecutive in-house shifts/month
Duties: High Risk Obstetrical Services
Pay Rate: $260/hr

Requirements:

California licensure
Board Certification with 2-3 years of experience
Hours: 7a-7a
Boards: AOBOG, ABOG
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, Case Logs

Responsibilities:

24-hour shifts, in-house presence required
Manage OB patients in L&D and ER
Handle Obstetric emergencies
Manage unassigned GYN patients in ER
Triage unassigned patients and private physician requests
Conduct Antepartum, Post-partum, and GYN rounds
Inpatient consults
