Program Details:
- Patient Population: Serving an agriculture area with 5000 annual hospital births, 750-800 handled by hospitalists.
- Current Stats: 60 deliveries/month, 180 clinic visits/month, 177 triage visits/month.
- NICU: Level III
- EMR: Cerner
- Shift Rotation: Full-time, 7-8 non-consecutive in-house shifts/month
- Duties: High Risk Obstetrical Services
- Pay Rate: $260/hr
Requirements:
- California licensure
- Board Certification with 2-3 years of experience
- Hours: 7a-7a
- Boards: AOBOG, ABOG
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, Case Logs
Responsibilities:
- 24-hour shifts, in-house presence required
- Manage OB patients in L&D and ER
- Handle Obstetric emergencies
- Manage unassigned GYN patients in ER
- Triage unassigned patients and private physician requests
- Conduct Antepartum, Post-partum, and GYN rounds
- Inpatient consults
