By becoming a part of the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute, you'll collaborate with a renowned cohort of medical professionals, including surgeons, interventional cardiologists, medical cardiologists, radiologists, vascular specialists, and more. Together, we are driving remarkable advancements in patient care, impacting lives not just locally but statewide, and we’re looking for the perfect physician to join our department.

Position Details:

Practice interventional cardiology - work in an academic setting with a supportive team dynamic
Open to all levels of experience - Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor
Tailor your role to your expertise and preferences
Generous compensation - based on MGMA guidelines
Relaxed call schedule - call attendees cover the majority of incoming calls with scribes and support staff on call

Responsibilities:

Ability to conduct research in the subspecialty of choice
- Research is not obligatory
1,100 - 1,200 PCI per year
200 TAVR per year
Mentorship for incoming residents at select locations

Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO)
Licensure:Valid medical licensure and Board Certification in Cardiology
Work Experience: Completion of an accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
