We offer quarterly provider bonuses for RVU productivity, schedule add-ons and on call visit conversions. RVU bonuses are paid once your productivity exceeds a specific threshold of work RVU's. Schedule add-on bonuses are paid for overlapping visits or additional patients added to your schedule throughout the day. On call bonuses are for visits taken on call that can be converted into a billable telehealth visit.

Salary: $91,000 - $95,000 per year
SUMMARY:
The Physician Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physician and will assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical exam, and diagnostic tests. The Physician Assistant will review test findings, make diagnosis, write orders, prescribe medications, and initiate appropriate action to facilitate implementation of a therapeutic plan.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess the health status of patients based on history and physical and a formulated diagnosis as part of a team approach in caring for the individual patient

Participate in daily team huddles

Provide therapeutic intervention,
-
Prescribe drugs, devices, and immunizing agents according to written protocol and practice

agreements with supervising physician

Assess patient symptoms, evaluate physical findings, formulate a diagnosis, and develop an appropriate management plan

Order and review labs, diagnostic tests, and provide appropriate follow-up of result

Provide follow-up with patients by phone, mail, or appointment to review health management plan

Monitor and provide follow-up of clients with acute illness and chronic conditions within scope of practice

Make appropriate physician consultations and referrals

Aware of and refers to Community Resources that may be beneficial to patients

Assist in educating patients about disease prevention, nutrition, caring for illnesses, supporting self-management and the importance of continuity of care in patient-centered medical home

Use Disease Management and Health Maintenance to coordinate care for individual patient

Complete continuing education activities required for board certification and credentialing

Any additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Current licensure as a Physician Assistant

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
The physical requirements and working environment are typical of most medical office settings. Employees are frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, balance, hear, talk, reach, and use their hands. Employees may occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb (stepstool) and stretch. Physical effort requires some lifting usually not in excess of 25 pounds. The office work environment is indoors and free from dust, smoke, moisture, and excessive noise. This position may occasionally require travel to patient homes. The working conditions may vary by location, and the company exercises no control over these environments. Specific concerns should be discussed with your Manager.
