Welcome to an Exciting Opportunity in Erie, PA!

We are looking for a compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at a Community Health Center in Erie, PA. This position offers a unique chance to provide primary health care services to a diverse population of refugees in the area, including individuals from Ukraine, Middle Eastern nations, Afghanistan, and Latin populations.

Responsibilities:

Start date: January 2, 2025
Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts
No OB care involved, focusing solely on family medicine
See an average of 18 patients per day
Open-ended assignment with the opportunity for extension after working two-week intervals
Competitive hourly rate offered
Benefits include paid lodging and mileage

Qualifications:

Must have cultural sensitivity and be able to work effectively with a diverse patient population
Passion for educating patients on healthcare and wellness
Ability to work with interpreters as a high percentage of patients do not speak English as their first language
